iPod Adapters: Overview of the Blaupunkt iPod Connector Cable
The iPod Auxiliary cable has the provision to transmit audio from select iPods that have dock connector to all Blaupunkt aftermarket car radios thanks to the Auxiliary strap up input connector. The Auxiliary cable equally allows you to transmit iPod Adapters video signal to various other external monitors thanks to the composite RCA video connector. You will still be able to control the iPod directly, and you can control the music volume by using your Blaupunkt radio.

Further, you have the provision of browsing through your music play list and menu using the iPod click wheel at a real time speed. A point to note however is that the cable doesn’t allow the Blaupunkt radio to control the iPod. Equally, the cable isn’t meant for (OEM) factory installed Blaupunkt radios as such a connection can completely damage your iPod.
How to connect: The proprietary dock connector part of the cable plugs into the iPod’s dock connector. The 8-pin strap-up connector part of the cable on the other hand plugs into the back of the Blaupunkt receiver in the Auxiliary port. The composite RCA video connector can further be plugged into an external monitor to enable iPod adapters video playback.
Once the receiver is put on and you connect your iPod, the iPod gets sufficient power to power playback as well as charge the battery.
