Memory Stick Duo supports a big capacity, high-speed data transmission, image record in real time and MagicGate technology.
The basic difference of Memory Stick Duo from standard flash-cards Memory Stick consists in its size and speed of data transmission. It can reach 20 MB a second. The Memory Stick Duo Pro is in three times less than Memory Stick card, and its weight is in 2 times less.
The universal Memory Stick Duo Pro data carrier also, allows any kind of digital data to be stored, such as records of video and the photo images with a high resolution, speech, music, drafts and text files, as it can be done with usual Memory Stick.
Another advantage of Memory Stick Duo is that it supports any formats of record - in the form of photo shots (JPEG) or video fragments (MPEG) and it is possible to supply the finished shooting material with necessary comments. Absence of moving parts, a flat and rigid design, as well as the connection with leading markets allows inserting it into compatible devices often and easily. Protection against casual deleting is provided.
